| Dr.
Rod Pinder, Senior Pastor Email Pastor Rod, who is a native Floridian, grew up in Miami and later graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park with a degree in Philosophy and Religion. After graduation Rod worked as a Community Relations Officer for the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Later, he attended Union Theological Seminary in Virginia and earned a Doctor of Ministry in Worship degree, as well as a Master of Theology in New Testament (Acts 2:14-39). Happily married to his wife Pat since 1979, they have lived in East Orange County since 1988. Their two children, Jessica and Michael, are currently students at the University of Central Florida. Before being called into full-time ministry, Rod wanted to be a jazz musician. This love of music continues to have a great influence on his ministry. Rod enjoys working with Woodbury’s youth and helping to lead worship by using his musical talents. Most of all, he loves being a pastor and sharing God's love with people on a personal level. | Dr. Maureen (Mo) Haner, Choir Director Email Mo grew up in the beautiful little town of Wellsboro, PA. She graduated from Eastern Baptist College, married and had one daughter, Bevin. (Interestingly enough, Bevin means ‘melodious lady’ in Welsh and she is a gifted music teacher with an MA in guidance counseling.) Mo has spent more than twenty-seven years working with kids of all ages. She has taught English, music and drama, written books, and enjoys studying and teaching. She believes that King David had the right idea about praise and worship and if more people would follow his lead, there would be fewer problems in this world. She has two doctorates – Christian education and Christian clinical counseling. She currently works with troubled teens at the United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, FL. Mo has served in all capacities in the Presbyterian church including deacon, elder, clerk of session, music director, youth director and counselor. She occasionally travels north to West Liberty, Ohio to visit her mother and sister/family and then over to Limerick, Pennsylvania where she spends time with her grandsons Brady, Colby and granddaughter, Kinley. |
