| Building Project Woodbury Presbyterian Church is growing. Our congregation has increased in size and now we are increasing our ability to serve by growing our physical facilities. The construction of our new buildings will not only give us more room as we continue to flourish, but will also give us an increased capacity to serve the community of East Orange County.
New Buildings for a Growing Church Woodbury’s Building Plans were approved by the Session on August 26, 2007. The new "Multi Purpose Building" will contain beautiful and urgently needed classroom space for our smaller children, as well as a fellowship hall where we can share dinners and presentations. A full size kitchen and a smaller "cafe style" fellowship room will make Woodbury a place for small group meetings, and a place for friends to meet and "hang out." Construction on the Multi Purpose Building will begin in 2008 and will enable us to teach and share the love of Jesus more effectively. Pray that God will guide and provide as we move forward on this exciting journey. Future buildings, as shown on the site plan, include an office building with enough space for adult discipleship education, an outdoor pavilion in the center of the campus and a new sanctuary. Our new worship space will accommodate about 550 worshippers. We have found great joy and purpose in the love of God through Jesus Christ and we have great vision to share that love and joy with as many people as we can.
